Frequently Asked Questions

Click here for Gutter Cleaning specific FAQs

Do you use cleaning materials that are toxic or harmful?

All of the products we use are biodegradable and home-safe. We don't use ammonia or alcohol-based solutions that could damage your furniture, flooring or aggravate respiratory conditions due to fumes. Occasionally customers have hard water stains that do require the use of chemicals outdoors.

What do I need to do to prepare my home prior to your crew arriving?

We do our best to make our services "hands off" on your part. The main thing that we need for gutter cleaning is for the spigots to be functional. We bring our own hoses. During the summer months this isn't much of an issue, but as we get into the fall, people begin winterizing their homes and shutting off the spigots.

What will happen to a scheduled cleaning if it rains?

We monitor the weather conditions closely so that we can be prepared in the event of an adverse weather situation. If weather reports call for light precipitation, we can proceed with the cleaning because light rain has no effect on the process. However, if it is extremely windy, snowy or storming, we will need to reschedule the service for you.

Can gutters be cleaned in the winter?

We are able to clean gutters up until the first snowfall or until temps cause the gutter contents to freeze solid. This typically happens between the 2nd and 3rd week of November. We resume gutter cleaning once conditions thaw in the spring.

What methods of payment do you accept?

Currently we accept cash and checks, and major Credit Cards. Most customers pay upon the completion of our work once they have verified that everything is to their satisfaction. If no one is home when we finish our work, we will email an invoice and you can payonline (through Quickbooks) or mail payment through the postal system.
